4 points: Given its geographical proximity to the massive European-Asian nation, it's hardly surprising - though noteworthy - that if you stand at the very most northern tip of this Japanese regional island, you may catch a glance of Russian mainland.
It has coastline to no less than three oceans and holds only 5% of Japan's total population.

ReplyDeleteWell given the information at hand, I'd have to say Hokkaido. Though you'd be too far away to see Russia I think. Given that, my other guess is Sakhalin but from what I understand that IS Russia.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's Hokkaido. I've always wanted to go there. There's a photographer I really like who has shot some amazing work in Hokkaido.
